Gnosticism was beginning to infiltrate the church in Colossae. The apostle Paul wrote to the church while imprisoned in Rome. He wrote of the dangers of human philosophy, legalism, and now mysticism being added to the gospel by the false teachers as a requirement for spirituality. Is Christ sufficient?
