Written 700 years before Christ’s birth, Isaiah describes His humiliation, suffering, death, burial and resurrection. He also includes facts about the Servant Messiah’s exaltation and the significance of His suffering. Isaiah 53 is quoted and referred to more in the New Testament than any other Old Testament passage.
